Brickwork mason — Luzerne County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. The role involves: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Rotating shifts.
