Now hiring: we are hiring a punch press operator in Kane County, Illinois. You will be based on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes On a typical shift you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components.
