Cnc lathe setter — Merced County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Merced County, California. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Day to day you will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes.
