Van driver • Augusta County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a van driver in Augusta County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Load and unload parcels and secure the load with straps and ropes • Carry out daily pre-trip checks on tyres, engine oil, coolant, brakes and lights • Check tyre pressure and report worn or damaged tyres • Keep fuel receipts and update the daily trip sheet • Top up engine oil, coolant and washer fluid as needed • Drive within speed limits and follow all road safety rules You should have: • Physically fit to load and unload goods by hand • Good knowledge of city roads, routes and shortcuts • Clean driving record with no major traffic violations Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
