Sand plant operator — Gamawa

Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Gamawa, Bauchi State. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings On the job you will handle: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale 4+ years on the tools preferred.
