Bricklayer wanted in Wilkes County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Wilkes County, Georgia. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Your main tasks: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 4+ years on the tools preferred.
