Port container crane operator — Fulton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Fulton County, New York. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day-to-day duties: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
