Trailer driver — Bosque County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trailer driver in Bosque County, Texas. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Day-to-day duties: • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits Requirements: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
