VMC operator — Lincoln County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a VMC operator in Lincoln County, Missouri. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. The role involves load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Rotating shifts.
