Brick and block layer — Oneida County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Oneida County, New York. What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Day to day you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
