Elevator technician — Deaf Smith County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Deaf Smith County, Texas. The job is in a residential tower block. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate The role involves: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Run load and overload tests with test weights Six days a week, one day off.
