Concrete worker — Wolverhampton

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete worker in Wolverhampton, England. Day to day you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
