Bakery assistant — Suffolk County

What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics On the job you will handle: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
