Join our team: we are hiring a rigger in Miga, Jigawa State. The job is at a container port. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks.
