Formwork carpenter — Cooke County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Cooke County, Texas. The job is on a busy construction site. You should have: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Day-to-day duties: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
