Now hiring: road roller operator (Mississippi)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a road roller operator in Winston County, Mississippi. Your main tasks: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
