Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Ottawa County, Kansas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime 4+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
