Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Sarpy County, Nebraska. The job is with a civil contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer You should have: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Physically fit and comfortable working at height At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
