Counter butcher — Rock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Rock County, Nebraska. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate On a typical shift you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; season and marinate meat on request; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
