Shakeout operator — Union County

Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Union County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts On a typical shift you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
