Immediate opening: conventional mill operator (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Ogle County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron $9,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
