Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry operative in Lewis County, Tennessee. The job is on the moulding line. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day to day you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes.
