Vacancy available: quality assurance assistant (Wales)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, Wales. Ideal candidate: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Day to day you will segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer £17 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
