Shakeout operator wanted in Lincoln County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Lincoln County, Kentucky. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills Your main tasks: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
