Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Delta County, Colorado. The job is in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Your main tasks: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
