Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Adams County, Wisconsin. The job is at a busy iron foundry. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings On a typical shift you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant.
