We are recruiting: press machine operator (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Hertford County, North Carolina. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. On a typical shift you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. You should have: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Pay around $10,000 per project, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
