Join our team: we are hiring a hoist operator in Lee County, Mississippi. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On the job you will handle: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
