Now hiring: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Colfax County, Nebraska. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day to day you will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
