Argon welding operator wanted in Dawes County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Dawes County, Nebraska. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On the job you will handle: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Six days a week, one day off.
