Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Aba North, Abia State. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On a typical shift you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around ₦295,000 per month, based on your experience.
