Moulder — Brooks County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Brooks County, Texas. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits.
