Shakeout operator — Pickens County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Pickens County, South Carolina. Day to day you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 5+ years on the tools preferred.
