We are recruiting: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Terry County, Texas. You will work at a busy bakery. Requirements: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Your main tasks: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel 1+ years on the tools preferred.
