Urgent requirement: mobile crane operator (Kogi State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Bassa, Kogi State. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. On the job you will handle: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
