Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Champaign County, Ohio. The role involves topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
