Incoming goods inspector — Somerset

Join our team: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Somerset, England. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping 6+ years on the tools preferred. £3,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
