Immediate opening: structural MIG welder (Colorado)

Join our team: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Saguache County, Colorado. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Full-time, day shift. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
