Immediate opening: restoration bricklayer (Benue State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Oju, Benue State. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb.
