Surface coating operator — Pointe Coupee Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at an automotive components factory. On a typical shift you will record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
