Packaging machine operator — Mercer County

Now hiring: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Mercer County, Illinois. The job is in a textile mill. On a typical shift you will set up and start the machine as per the job card; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
