Press machine operator — Clay County

Join our team: we are hiring a press machine operator in Clay County, West Virginia. You will be based at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
