The role involves: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust Ideal candidate: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
