Now hiring: we are hiring a halal butcher in Sapele, Delta State. Your main tasks: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
