Machine setter-operator — Laurens County

Join our team: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Laurens County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
