Immediate opening: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Somervell County, Texas. The job is at a busy garment factory. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Day to day you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
