The role involves decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
