TIG welder — Beaverhead County

Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Beaverhead County, Montana. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On the job you will handle: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
