Bakery assistant — Danja

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Danja, Katsina State. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. Your main tasks: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
