Roofing technician — Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a roofing technician in Washington County, Maine. You will work at a busy roofing firm. Day to day you will fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
